The Akato Trio was invited to perform in the Grand Opening of the new Te Uru Gallery at the Lopdell House in Titirangi.

In the heart of the amazing art galleries, food and atmosphere of the town of titirangi we performed some Shostakovich, Beethoven, Brahms and some solo repertoires.

It was first planned to be background music, however many people stopped by to listen and ended up like as if it was a mini concert! It was interesting how they wrote Akato 'Torio' on the programme board at the entrance, the photo is at the entrance where we the programme board is standing.
