ISOMURA BROTHERS Recital Series 'Out of the Blue' - WAIHEKE ISLAND
Always a pleasure performing for the incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic people in Waiheke Island!
We have been coming back to Whittaker's Music Museum almost every year to perform a recital and this year we presented a programme that presents a journey through various cultures of music.
Starting with Mozart in Austria, then to John Psathas (NZ), Joe Hisaishi (JP), Yasushi Akutagawa (JP) - interval -, Gao Ping (CHN), Ryuichi Sakamoto (JP), and ending with Elena Kats-Chernin in Australia.
The audience loved the programme, especially commenting on how they enjoyed Out of the Blue by Elena Kats-Chernin which we are incredibly happy to hear!
This will be the last of our March concert series based around 'Out of the Blue' but we are absolutely sure that we will come back to these works again. Hopefully we could record this work in the near future.
