The past couple months I had the privileged to work towards a wonderful show which happened last weekend - Hugh Jackman. The Man. The Show. The Music. World Tour in New Zealand.

I was involved as the orchestral contractor/coordinator and violinist of the Hugh Jackman Show Orchestra (Which apparently was named the Isomura Brothers Orchestra in the show credits). It was a pleasure to work with the show team, the brilliant musicians from New Zealand and of course Hugh Jackman himself.

This was their last international show after going back to USA for the final shows. New Zealand was also where this tour started, so it must have been an emotional night for the touring team. We really felt the enthusiasm they all had and even after 60-70 shows around the world, the show felt very fresh and exciting, as if it was their first show - which was something very inspirational as a performer myself. In many moments I had shivers down my spine due to the brilliance of the show. The only thing that was unfortunate was that my health wasn't at its best on this day.

Academy Award® nominated, Golden Globe, Grammy and Tony Award-winning performer, Hugh Jackman, has announced the New Zealand leg of his The Man. The Music. The Show. WORLD TOUR this September.

Produced by TEG DAINTY the tour will see Jackman perform hit songs from The Greatest Showman, Les Misérables and more from Broadway and film, accompanied by a live orchestra at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7.

Making a very special guest appearance on the New Zealand tour is actress and singer Keala Settle who will perform the Academy Award® nominated and Golden Globe Award winning song “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman and more.

Shauno is involved as the ensemble contractor/coordinator and lead violinist of the Hugh Jackman Show Orchestra.
